The highly anticipated midseason CW show, The Carrie Diaries, finally has its premiere date. The show will make its debut on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at 8 PM. The Carrie Diaries is a prequel of sorts to HBO’s Sex and the City and features a 1980s Carrie Bradshaw and the first love of her life: Manhattan. Fellow CW show 90210 will move to 9 PM when the freshman series premieres. [The CW]

VH1’s Divas is having a dance party hosted by Adam Lambert. The franchise will pay tribute to Whitney Houston and Donna Summer with performances from Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, and Jordin Sparks. The show will air live on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 9 PM. [VH1]

Next week’s episode of The CW’s Gossip Girl will feature Frank Ocean heavily. No, not the man himself but his music. The episode, “Monstrous Ball,” will exclusively include five of the rapper’s songs. This is the first time an episode of the drama has featured only one artist on its soundtrack for an episode. Ladies and Gentlemen, let’s give it up for The CW’s Arrow. The superhero drama saw a 30 percent increase in ratings Wednesday night with 3.7 million viewers, bringing the show back to tie its premiere rating in the ad-coveted 18-49 demographic. NBC’s Chicago Fire also saw a big jump of 44 percent thanks in large part to its lead in of The Voice. Speaking of The Voice, the show handily beat FOX’s The X Factor with 10.4 and 6.9 million viewers respectively. [EW]
