The premiere event for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is attracting stars from all genres and decades.

Jaleel White, best known for his role as nerdy Steve Urkel on 90s sitcom, Family Matters, spoke to Celebuzz on his way into the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, Calif. on Monday.

“This is the most Hollywood pageantry I’ve seen in quite some time,” he told us. “I think it’s the biggest premiere of the year.”

He then corrected himself saying, “This is the biggest premiere I’ve ever been to. I’m going to go on record with that.”

Of course, one doesn’t make it in Hollywood as long as White has without being smart about it. And he tells us that he hopes to be safely in his seat before the franchise’s stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arrive. “I don’t even want to be hit by that tidal wave,” he joked.

There is an upside to the crazy of the film’s premiere night. “I love seeing the rabid fans,” he said. “It’s kind of a reminder of why we do this.”

In recent years, the 35-year-old has appeared on Psych, NCIS, House and has served as the voice of Sonic on the animated series, Sonic Underground.
