Snooki Cries While Surveying Hurricane Sandy Devastation in Seaside Heights: 'Everything Is Just Destroyed' (VIDEO)
When Snooki and the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore wrapped filming in Seaside Heights this summer, they never thought they'd be saying goodbye to their beloved boardwalk for good.
Sadly, in the wake of superstorm Sandy, the boardwalk where the cast spent many drunken nights is destroyed -- and Snooki is just one of the many people mourning the loss. The new mom surveyed the destruction wrought by Sandy from a helicopter, and she was shocked at what she saw.
"Oh my god," the reality TV star gasped as she flew over her old stopping ground, spying that her favorite roller coaster in The Funtown Pier is now in ruins.
"It's really sad," cried Snooki. "The rollar coaster that I always go on is in the water. There's like no boardwalk."
But for this Jersey Shore star, the hardest part of coping with Seaside Height's devastation is remembering the fun she and her roommates had just months before. Even the iconic Shore Store was left in shambles.
"We have so many memories, and everything is just destroyed," she cried. One Direction, Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears and more -- will benefit the disaster-strewn towns along the state’s 127-mile coastline.
