'Jersey Shore' Star Vinny Guadagnino Talks New MTV Spin-Off: 'My Mom Cooks for the Crew and for the Celebrities'
The 25-year-old reality TV star promises his show will give fans a glimpse into his personal life, as he welcomes cameras and celebrity guests into the family home.
"It’s probably the biggest thing that’s happened in my life," Guadagnino told HuffPost TV of the new venture. "I'm really excited because there's another side of my personality that likes to act and do improv and host. And to be able to get your own show, doing what you want to do, is an amazing feeling."
Guadagnino says his mother, Paula, will also be prominently featured on his new series.
"I knew it was going to be a talk show, but I'm not the type to be in a studio with a suit and tie. We wanted to use what I had, which was my family and my house because that’s what everyone at home always loved. It's not hiding anything," he said. "My mom cooks for the crew and for the celebrities!"
Guadagnino, who's been a regular cast on Jersey Shore since its inception in 2009, is keeping mum on the star-studded roster of guest this upcoming season though.
"We got the biggest names in the world for the first episode," he gushed. "I can't tell you who, but somebody really really big."
