'Real Housewives of Miami' Star Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago End Engagement
Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa has called off her five-and-a-half-year engagement to Miami club maestro Romain Zago.
“We got in a huge fight, and I just pretty much got fed up with it,” the model-turned-reality-TV-star told In Touch. “He loves me to death, he wants to be with me, but there’s something that’s holding him from committing 100 percent."
Despite telling Celebuzz back in September that things were fine between her and her man, Krupa told the tabloid she knew deep down she wasn’t going to walk down the aisle. “It’s been more than five years; we don’t have a wedding date set... Nothing was going to change.”
Meanwhile, Zago is upset over her decision to pull the plug on the couple's six-year relationship “I don’t know if it’s over forever, but I’m pretty pissed," he told In Touch. “She is traveling all over the place anyway. There is no way anyone can be with her like this. That’s her choice."Celebuzz asked Krupa a few months ago whether she was concerned her decision to join the Real Housewives franchise would put a strain on her and Zago's relationship, Krupa replied, “That didn’t even cross my mind."
“That was the least of my worries! … A lot of people that break up after reality shows, [the show] just sped up the breakup.”
