The Kardashians and Kanye West at 'X Factor': Contestants Share Their Awesome, Exciting and Awkward Run-Ins
FOX’s The X Factor co-host Khloe Kardashian Odom told Celebuzz that her family would be at the show for Thanksgiving and she wasn’t kidding.
Within the first few minutes of Wednesday's Top 10 performance show, the camera panned across a row of Kardashians and Jenners, including Kim Kardashian, her boyfriend Kanye West, youngest sisters Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner, and their dad, Bruce Jenner.
After the show, the lucky contenders who actually got to meet members of the First Family of Reality TV were excited to talk about their run-ins.
Who got to hold hands with Kim (kind of)? Who was more excited to meet the family’s Olympian dad? Who took Kanye by surprise? And who wished they could have had more time with Kendall and Kylie?
Find out what The X Factor contestants had to say about meeting the Kardashian-Jenner clan below.
Arin Ray holds Kim’s hand by proxy: “I got to meet Kanye West today. That was amazing. This dude is one of my idols. It was crazy getting to meet him. It was awesome. Kim Kardashian was right next to him and they were holding hands when I shook his hand. So, technically, I was holding hands with Kim Kardashian. It was awesome getting to meet the whole family. I got to meet Kendall and Kylie. That was awesome. And, they’re super-cute, so it was awesome to meet them too.”
Emblem3’s Wesley Stromberg catches Kendall and Kylie’s attention: “I saw them walk by and the two girls, Kendall and Kylie, they were like [he says in a girly voice], ‘Oohhhhhh.’ I wanted to say hi to them, but I was just pushed out the door. “
Carly Rose Sonenclar gets a very public compliment from Kim: “Kim tweeted about me! She said, ‘Wow, all I have to say is...Carly Rose. She sang the best version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow!!!!’ It was cool.
The X Factor Top 10 eliminations airs Thanksgiving Thursday at 8 PM on FOX.
