Has Taylor Swift learned nothing from her past relationship mistakes?

We know T. Swift likes men who "take control,"  but it's the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer who can't control her feelings when falling in love.

"I don't think there's an option for me to fall in love slowly, or at medium speed. I either do or I don't," Swift, who is rumored to be dating One Direction ladies man Harry Styles, told Parade magazine.

"I don't think it through, really, which is a good and a bad thing," the 22-year-old added. "You don't look before you leap, which is like, 'Yay, this is awesome! Let's not think twice!' And then you're like, 'We used to be flying. Now we're falling. What's happening?'"

However, despite red hot romances with Joe JonasJake GyllenhaalJohn MayerTaylor Lautner and Conor Kennedy -- and four albums worth of lovesick songs -- Swift isn't sure she's ever actually been in love.

"I tend to think things are love and then look back and reevaluate," she explained. "I know how many people I've said 'I love you' to. I could probably count it up, but I don't feel like it."

"Part of me feels like you can't say you were truly in love if it didn't last," she added. "If I end up getting married and having kids, that's when I'll know it's real – because it lasted."

For now, Swift is just having fun. She's most recently been linked to Styles, 18, after the pair were spotted holding hands on the X Factor set.

“During rehearsals, Harry from One Direction came and slapped me on the back, and said, ‘Hey Mario, how you doing?’ And I said, ‘What are you doing here?’ And he sort of points towards Taylor, and I said, ‘Oh! Good for you! And then I see the two walking off hand-in-hand,” X-Factor co-host Mario Lopez dished on his radio show last week.

While Lopez stayed away from the word “dating,” he did say that the pair are “officially hanging out.”
