Even though her reviews were less than stellar, Lindsay Lohan still made quite an impression on TV audiences Sunday night in Liz & Dick, Lifetime's take on the tumultuous relationship between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton (Grant Bowler).

Whether she was attempting suicide or going for full-on '80s realness, Lohan, 26, did whatever she could to portray the late Oscar-winning icon and put her struggling acting career back on the map.

Burton Puts a (Giant) Ring on It Even though the couple had little money to spend, Burton wound up dropping more than $1 million on a diamond ring for Taylor. Naturally, Taylor is impressed.

Death Doesn't Become Her Of all the costume changes, none was quite as effective -- or at least fascinating -- as when Lohan donned Taylor's memorable '80s look for the scene in which she finds out that Burton has died. Unfortunately, Lohan ages about as well as carton of milk, but hey, at least she tried.
