Brad Pitt Mulling David Fincher's '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea'
Fincher has courted long-time collaborator Brad Pitt for the job, and it looks like Killing Them Softly star may take it.
In an interview with MTV, Pitt was asked if he will reunite with Fincher on the project. "I’d love to. I mean, he’s my man. He’s got a great take on it. That’s just gonna be about schedule and time allocation, but he’s my man.”
Should Pitt sign on, the film will be a Seven reunion of sorts, as Seven scribe Andrew Kevin Walker penned the latest draft of Leagues. The last time Pitt and Fincher worked together was in 2008, for Paramount's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Fincher's last film was the adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, while Pitt will next be seen in the thriller Killing Them Softly, arriving in theaters on Friday, November 30.
