'Fashion Police's' Kelly Osbourne Responds to Style Criticism Backlash: 'It Is a Comedy Show' (VIDEO)
Kelly Osbourne says she doesn’t feel bad about critiquing celebrity's style on E!’s Fashion Police.
“I would never say anything to anyone that I won’t say to their face and that’s something I make a real strong point of,” Osbourne told Savannah Guthrie on Wednesday’s Today. “But what’s amazing to me is what I say and what people hear is a completely different thing.”
“Common sense is not common,” she explained of her critiques.” [People] forget that it is a comedy show and it’s finally taken 100 episodes of people to start realizing that Fashion Police is a fashion-based comedy show.”
Though they’ve been on the air for a while, Osbourne reveals she does not feel she's gotten any better at the job.
“No,” she said, laughing, when asked whether or not her skills have improved. “It just comes out of my mouth before I’ve even thought about what I’ve said because I’m not scripted in any way… sometimes I’ll say it because it’s what I really think and I’ll get all of these death threats on Twitter and I’m just like ‘It’s just my opinion, why do you care that much?’”above.
Fashion Police’s 100th episode airs Friday at 10:30 on E!.
