Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Reach Custody Settlement (REPORT)
Both parties had their lawyers in court this morning to settle the custodial arrangement of their four-year-old daughter Nahla.
Berry's attorney Blair Berk walked into the hallway outside of the Los Angeles court and help up a piece of paper with this handwritten message: "The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter."
The news comes at the end of a dramatic week for the two of them.
TMZ reported earlier this week that Berry was set to seek a restraining order against Aubry.
According to the report, Berry, 46, hopes to extend the emergency order of protection issued to her last week after Aubry got into a bloody fight with Berry’s fiance, Olivier Martinez, on Thanksgiving day.The protection, which ordered Aubry to stay 100 yards away from Berry, the couple’s four-year-old daughter, Nahla, and Martinez, expires Tuesday.
Aubry, 37, was arrested last Thursday and charged with misdemeanor battery following a heated argument inside Berry’s home. Aubry, who is due back in court on Dec. 13, was released on $20,000 bail.
Both Aubry and Berry's lawyers were not available for comment at press time.
