Lindsay Lohan's Star Supporter: The Wanted's Jay McGuiness Wears 'Free Lindsay' Shirt in NYC
The Wanted singer Jay McGuiness made a bold statement about Lindsay Lohan during the band's second stint at Madison Square Garden, where they opened for Justin Bieber.
The boy bander wore a homemade "Free Lindsay" t-shirt, complete with a drawing of Lohan's face underneath -- a mere hours after she was arrested and charged with assault.
The Liz & Dick star allegedly punched Tiffany Eve Mitchell in the face outside of NYC hot spot Avenue while she was hanging out with The Wanted's Max George.
Lohan's attorney shot back at reports that the troubled actress was on drugs the evening of the arrest.
A source told E! News, "She was certainly not intoxicated, certainly not under the influence of drugs. She was clear [and] lucid, her eyes were clear. No alcohol involvement whatsoever on this occasion."
The 26-year-old was charged with three crimes relating to a June car accident including giving false information to a police officer, obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty.
