The Wanted’s Max George Speaks Out on Lindsay Lohan Post NYC Club Fight: ‘It Got Blown Out of Proportion’

Max George, front man of The Wanted, has come forward to comment on the Lindsay Lohan debacle.

“She’s cool. She was a top girl, she’s you know, good fun,” the 24-year-old told KISS FM’s JoJo Wright on Friday.

“We were just out and there was a bit of trouble with someone in the club. But it got blown out of proportion to be honest.”

In the wee hours of Thursday, Lohan, 26, was hanging out with the guys from The Wanted at New York City hot spot Avenue when she allegedly punched Tiffany Eve Mitchell in the face. The Liz & Dick star was arrested and charged with a third-degree misdemeanor assault.

During his chat with Wright on Friday, George shot down reports that Lohan’s altercation was over him.

“It wasn’t me. I didn’t instigate anything. It was nothing to do with me.”

As for those dating rumors?

“No, no. But she’s a nice girl though,” the British singer said.
