David Beckham and Sons Celebrate MLS Win and Final Game With L.A. Galaxy (PHOTOS)
On Saturday, the 37-year-old soccer star bid adieu to his team with a huge win over the Houston Dynamo, as his proud sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz watched the team take home the 2012 MLS Cup.
The win comes nearly two weeks after Beckham announced that this would be his last season with the team he joined six years ago.
“I’ve had an incredibly special time playing for the L.A. Galaxy. However, I wanted to experience one last challenge before the end of my playing career,” he said in a statement at the time.
“I don’t see this as the end of my relationship with the league, as my ambition is to be part of the ownership structure in the future.”
Beckham’s final game with the Galaxy brought out some big names in the stands, including Gerard Butler, L.A. Lakers star Kobe Bryant and American Idol creator Simon Fuller.
Victoria Beckham and daughter Harper Seven were also on hand for the big win and celebration. The mother-daughter-duo was spotted at LAX earlier in the day, arriving just in time for the game.
