McCord calls the continuation of the girls’ trip to Ojai her “favorite episode of the season so far." She even gives props to the producers for getting their bang for the buck from a trip that was relatively cheap to shoot. She explains why.
She then moves on to identify some “standard issue housewives behavior patterns.” Those would include the “dueling” over book deals between Brandi Glanville, Taylor Armstrong, and look, Adrienne Maloof even throws her hat into the ring. Was that smart? McCord weighs in on the battle.

Adrienne is 51 I think, so she is a little older than Brandi
Brandi is 40. How old is Adrianne? About the same age. I don't think age has much to do with this situation.
Adrienne is boring and always has been. Having a wealthy family does not make one interesting, deep, or relevant. I was surprised they kept her on the show, frankly. I don't take sides, and clearly Brandi is young and doesn't always make the best decisions, but Adrianne and her husband were like vultures attacking her...very childish and they came off unintelligent and ridiculous. Like bad actors trying to get camera time.

I thought this was a great epi, too. It had just enough drama and some fun silliness. But, my goodness does Kyle hate Brandi or what?! Kyle is such a hypocrite! She said the "f" word at dinner to Camille in season 1. Keep the recaps coming. I hope you'll do some more Housewives shows, like OC, maybe.
Hi alex, I agree with everything you said. Many comments have been made about the girls' getting drunk during Kim's weekend, but it was a vacation and if they were drunk then I think they should do it more often. They were coordinated enough to do gymnastics, so maybe just buzzed. Yolanda was a buzzkill and Kim was probably drinking alone in her room. Thanks for showing us one of those fabulous earrings Simon gave you!

That is why I like Brandi. She calls it like she sees it. Lisa tried to speak up for Brandi but, as always, Mrs. Self Righteous Kyle ("never do or say anything out of line") tells Lisa how to should think about the comment. Look these ladies are on reality TV and in the REAL world people cuss. Regardless of social and economical status. Sometimes decorum is thrown out the windows depending on the passions of the emotional situation which Brandi was defending. Brandi is a great addition to the Housewives, I like her sass and I like that Lisa sees her for who she is; mistakes and all. To think that they all were at Ojai to celebrate Kim's sobriety.
