The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was discharged from King Edward VII Hospital early Thursday morning after being treated for hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe type of morning sickness.

Holding yellow flowers in her hands, Middleton — who was admitted to the hospital on Monday, the same day the Palace confirmed her pregnancy — smiled for the cameras before she and husband Prince William left the hospital at around 11AM GT.

Middleton, 30, will return to Kensington Palace for a period of rest, according to Palace officials.

“Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment The Duchess has received,” Nick Loughran, the assistant press secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, said in a statement (via ABC News).

Throughout her four-day stay, Middleton was visited by multiple family members, including William, 30, and siblings Pippa, 29, and James, 25.

This is the first pregnancy for Middleton, who is less than 12 weeks along. Her child will be third in line to the throne, after William.
