Christina Aguilera Talks Naked 'Lotus' Album Cover: 'I'm Just Comfortable in My Skin' (VIDEO)
Christina Aguilera's nude cover shot for her latest album, Lotus, has definitely gotten fans' attention. So, when she appeared on Friday's Ellen, the host definitely had to ask.
“I like to be free,” Aguilera told Ellen DeGeneres. “Sometimes the less clothing, the better. I’m just comfortable in my skin and my body.”
The Voice coach then joked about the “ugly Christmas sweater” DeGeneres gifted her, saying that if she owned the festive attire then, she “would have worn that [on the cover] of Lotus.”
A sweater wasn’t the only gift Aguilera received from DeGeneres though. Having used a variety of fans while sitting in her big red chair on the set of NBC's The Voice, the talk show host presented her with an enormous and hilarious holiday-decorated fan.
“We get what it’s all about," she said. "We’re invested in our teams and I’m sitting next to Blake [Shelton] the whole time so how can I not laugh.”
In addition to her album and show, Aguilera, 31, also dished on the much-talked about photo of her and Senator Hillary Clinton, in which the politician seems to be gazing at her chest. Looking at the photo with DeGeneres, she said, “That looks like it was photoshopped, but it’s not. It was a real moment.”
Aguilera appears on Ellen Friday. Check your local listings for time and station.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 PM on NBC.
