CMT's Artists of the Year Preview: 'Nashville' Stars Get Rudely Interrupted by Rascal Flatts (VIDEO)
Hayden Panettiere may be known for her role as teenage vixen Juliette Barnes on ABC's hit Nashville, but now she's adding TV host to her impressive resume.
On Saturday, December 8, Panettiere will host CMT's Artists of the Year alongside country crooners Rascal Flatts, and Celebuzz has the TV special's opening scene, featuring the starlets Nashville co-stars Connie Britton and Chip Esten.
Stuck on a private jet with nothing to do, Rayna, Juliette and Deacon decide to play a game of strip poker. Unfortunately for Deacon, he's not exactly the best poker player, which means -- fortunately, for the ladies -- he's stripped down to his boxers and cowboy boots.
But before he can shed any more clothing, Rascal Flatts interrupts the scene and drags Panettiere away to host the show. Gary LaVox, you are a life-ruiner.The 90-minute CMT special will celebrate country music with an incredible evening of performances from the biggest names in country music.
For the first time ever, CMT is keeping the list of honorees a secret until they are revealed Saturday night. Will Jason Aldean make it a three-peat? Will fan-favorite Miranda Lambert be honored? Will country’s biggest bad boy Eric Church make his debut as one of the CMT's Artists of the Year?
Looks like we'll just have to wait and see.
