One Direction’s Zayn, Louis and Niall Thank Fans for Their Support: ‘We’re Blown Away’ (VIDEO)

Say what you want about One Direction, but one thing is for sure:  It’s been an incredible year for the British boy band.

From releasing two No. 1 albums and becoming international celebrities, 2012 has been life-changing. But what the year’s biggest highlight for the boys?

“Playing MSG [Madison Square Garden] three days ago was just phenomenal,” Louis Tomlinson told Celebuzz of the group’s NYC performance.

For the five lads, it’s been a whirlwind ride from The X Factor UK stage to The Garden, but they admit they wouldn’t be where they are today if it weren’t for their fans.

“It’s crazy because we didn’t expect any sort of success over here,” said Zayn Malik. “We didn’t even expect anyone to even know who we were. We’ve been blown away by the fans’ support. It’s crazy.”

“We never envisioned any of this, and like Zayn says, we owe it all to our fans,” added Tomlinson, who also told Celebuzz it takes him less than 30 seconds to style that perfect coiffe in the morning.

As for what the boys are looking forward to in 2013, they’re gearing up for their world tour, which kicks off this spring. But first, they have to plan a few New Years plans.

“We might be planning some kind of party, but we don’t know yet. We’re still in the early stages,” Tomlinson told Z100 before the show.
