It’s the beginning of the end for MTV’s Jersey Shore. The network is bidding adieu to their iconic reality series with a seven-day marathon kicking off Thursday with a brand new episode at 10 PM. The marathon will run until the emotional series finale on Dec. 20 at 10 PM. Following the finale, MTV will have it’s first-ever live Jersey Shore Reunion special at 11 PM ET. [MTV]

Adam Samberg will host the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards. The former Saturday Night Live castmember has done hosting duties at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Silver Linings Playbook and Moonrise Kingdom lead the pack of this year’s nominees. The awards show will take place Saturday, Dec. 23 in Santa Monica, Calif. and will air on IFC at 10 PM. [The Wrap]

NBC’s The Voice and CBS’ 2 Broke Girls led Monday night in the ratings. Meanwhile, the American Country Awards took a steep fall from last year with only 2 million viewers. In first for the ad-coveted demo was CBS with 10.6 million viewers and a 6.6 rating. Though those numbers may be inflated as the network’s Houston affiliate carried the highly rated Monday Night Football game where the New England Patriots buried the Houston Texans. [Zap2it]

TNT’s Dallas has set a date for J.R.’s funeral. Season 2’s eighth episode, airing Mar.11, will feature the send-off. Actor Larry Hagman, who embodied the iconic character, passed away on Nov. 23 from complications from cancer. Hagman had completed filming a number of episodes prior to his death. The characters' funeral is rumored to feature appearances from a number of Dallas vets. Season 2 of Dallas premieres Jan. 28. [TVLine]

Son of Anarchy’s Theo Rossi is set to guest on Law & Order: SVU. The actor, who plays Juice on the FX drama, appears on the Jan. 2 episode of the NBC show. He will play Enrique Rodriguez, a Catholic who is out for justice for his sister. [TVLine]

ABC leads the pack in this year’s NAACP Image Award nominations with over 20 nominations including two in the Outstanding Drama category for the Shonda Rhimes’ helmed Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy. Three actresses from these shows were also nominated for lead actress: Scandal’s Kerry Washington and Grey’s Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh. Rhimes also received writing nominations. Baseball’s Pete Rose is coming to the small screen in a six-part series, Pete Rose: Hits & Mrs., on TLC. The show will focus on the all-time hit king and his new fiancée, former Playboy model Kiana Kim, as they blend their families and plan their life together. The show will premiere Monday, Jan. 14 at 10 PM on TLC. [TLC]
