Australian DJ Havana Brown can’t get enough of Pitbull.

Fresh from the Australian leg of Mr. Worldwide’s Planet Pit World Tour, where the 27-year-old DJ served as an opening act, Brown stopped by the Celebuzz’s Hollywood studio to talk about what it’s really like to tour with her “We Run The Night” collaborator.

“He’s great live, the performances have a lot of energy, but he’s actually like that in real life,” Brown said.

“He’s got a lot of energy for life in general. He works hard but he also plays hard…for some reason people find it surprising when I say that he’s actually a real gentleman. He’s loyal and he’s really genuine, giving and generous.”

Brown, who has also opened for the likes of Rihanna and Britney Spears, said that Pitbull’s energy also flows backstage — where often the party continues well after the end of the show.

“It’s just a South American flavor, energy. They’re just backstage — happy. They’re enjoying every moment,” Brown told us.

Brown and Pitbull will reunite on stage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Dec. 16 for the 2012 VH1 Divas show, which will also feature Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus and host Adam Lambert. Brown will serve as the show’s house DJ.

Two weeks later, the pair will ring in 2013 in Miami.

“I am so pumped for this New Years,” the Aussie DJ said. “I don’t think I’d rather be anywhere else than in Miami with Pitbull. It’s going to be so much fun.”
