Carmen Electra Dives into Music Career with Steamy New Video (PHOTOS)
Carmen Electra is reigniting her long-dormant music career -- and she's doing it with a bang.
"I love acting — but deep down inside this is what I have wanted to do for so long," she told Celebuzz. "I have got to the point in my life where I have felt like I have to go for it. Now is the time.”
But she isn't leaving her sexy image behind. In fact, Electra just released a slew of steamy behind-the-scenes snaps from an upcoming music video.
Set to debut in early 2013, the "I Like It Loud" clip shows the fabulous-at-40-year-old lounging next to a handsome man in the back of a limousine that's cruising New York City. Also on display: a whole lot of sex appeal, courtesy of Electra's plunging red mini dress.
The former Playboy playmate shot to stardom when she replaced Jenny McCarthy as the co-host on the MTV dating series Singled Out in 1997; it parlayed into a movie career that included flicks such as Scary Movie, Date Movie and Disaster Movie. She also starred in TV's Baywatch.
"I Like It Loud" hit online stores on Nov. 13; it's the first song that Electra has released since 1992, when her mentor, Prince, produced her self-titled debut album.
