And the happy Hollywood couple doesn’t care if they have a boy or a girl, just as long as the baby is fit and healthy, a source close to the family has revealed to Celebuzz.
“They are both ecstatic -- it is the perfect Christmas gift and it will make this year’s holidays very special,” the insider revealed to Celebuzz.
And whether the former Step Up co-stars are having a boy or a girl is still up in the air.
“Jenna and Tatum don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet and they're still getting used to her being pregnant," added the source. "But they are totally excited and they do not care about the sex of the baby just as long as he or she is fit and healthy.”
It's unknown how far along The Playboy Club star is, but she's now showing a slight baby bump and so far the pregnancy has not slowed her down.
“All their family and friends are delighted for them and it was great news especially at this time of year,” the insider added.
The Magic Mike star admitted in a recent interview with PEOPLE that the couple were ready to start a family and they had not ruled out having a lot of kids.
The happy couple originally met in 2006 on the set of Step Up before Channing popped the question in September 2008 while on vacation in Hawaii. They sealed their love by getting married on the grounds of church Estates Vineyards in California in July 2009.
