Not only did the number of style-centric shows grow, with the debut of Fashion Star and the return of MTV’s House of Style, but some of the silver screen’s stylish standbys also expanded their reach. Project Runway launched its star-packed spinoff Project RunwayAll Stars, while America’s Next Top Model announced the addition of male models to the show.
While we said goodbye to TV’s most stylish shows since Sex and the City, with this week’s finale of Gossip Girl, we also welcomed an array of fashionable new characters into our living rooms in 2012.
Stylish newcomers like Revenge packed a serious style punch, offering eye candy for every style type, from country fans to uptown girls. So as we countdown to 2013 (and the return of some of the most stylish shows in January), we’re counting down the year’s most fashionable shows.
