Anne Hathaway Calls Herself 'Very Vanilla,' Admits She Has 'No Sex Appeal' (PHOTOS)

Though she was recently spotted donning on a slinky Tom Ford gown and bondage-inspired heels at her Les Misérables premiere, actress Anne Hathaway admits she doesn't find herself as sexy as she'd like.

In the February issue of the UK version of Harper's Bazaar, the 30-year-old expressed her woes over her "vanilla" image.

"I'm not Rihanna; I’m not cool,” she told the magazine.

“When people come up to me in the street, they often want a hug not a photo, and they want that because they like my work."

"I was seen as this bizarre-world good-girl cartoon that I in no way identified with -- very vanilla, very sweet, very accessible and not interesting," she added. "I had no grit, no sex appeal.”

However, Hathaway has one fan who will undoubtedly disagree: her husband Adam Shulman.

"He walks into a room, and I light up. I can't help it," she said. "A few days into it [filming Les Misérables], I said, 'I'm having too much fun, I just want to play with you and I need to be really sad right now.'"

She added, "I knew from the second I met him that he was the love of my life."
