Justin Bieber wants to clear the air . . . sort of.

Hours after TMZ released photos of the Canadian singer smoking what appears to be a blunt, Bieber took to Twitter to post several messages possibly in response to the allegations.

“everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up,” he wrote, later adding that he was excited to be back on his “Believe” tour the next day.

“i see all of you. i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u #beliebers.”

On Friday, TMZ posted snaps of the 18-year-old from a gathering in Newport Beach on Jan. 2, one day after a photographer was killedwhile following Bieber’s white Ferarri. Bieber was not in the car at the time of the accident.

According to TMZ sources, Bieber’s pal Lil Twist — who was behind the wheel during the paparazzo incident — and his brother were rolling joints at the Newport party.

“While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim,” Bieber said in a statement following the New Year’s Day shocker.

“Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent bystanders, and the photographers themselves.”

Bieber is scheduled to play in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday night, followed by shows in Denver, Tulsa and North Little Rock later in the week.
