Justin Bieber Gets New Tattoo in Honor of His Grandfather (VIDEO & PHOTO)
Justin Bieber is paying tribute to his grandfather — in ink.
The pop phenom debuted his latest tattoo on Instagram Sunday — a black-and-grey version of the logo for the Stratford Cullitons, a junior ice hockey team based in Ontario, Canada.
"My grandfather always took me to the stratford culliton every friday night," Bieber wrote along with the snap of the body art, the work of Chente Rios, an L.A.-based tattoo artist who runs Under The Gun Tattoo Company. "This is for you Grampa (sic)."
The new ink marks Bieber’s ninth tattoo. Less than a week ago, Selena Gomez's on-and-off beau added some roses to a pre-existing tattoo of prayer hands on his leg. And back in October, the “Beauty and a Beat” singer, 18, added to his collection with a crown on the right side of his chest, showing off the ink in a shirtless snap on Twitter. “New tattoo. It’s a crown if you couldn’t tell,” he wrote.raked up tattoos in recent months. His collection includes the Japanese Kanji symbol for music on his right arm; a small bird on his left hip; praying hands on his left calf; and the Hebrew word for Jesus on his ribcage.
As Bieber continued on his Believe tour this week, the singer delayed his Salt Lake City, Utah, concert on Saturday in order to pay a visit to leukemia patient Millie Flamm at Primary Children's Medical Center. After serenading the 7-year-old, the Canadian crooner shared a snap of him cuddling Flamm on his Instagram account. "Look at this bundle of joy," he wrote. "I love her."TMZ published photos of him smoking what appears to be marijuana. The pictures were reportedly taken on Jan. 2 inside a hotel room in Newport Beach, Calif., where Bieber was with his pal, 19-year-old rapper Lil Twist.
