Golden Globes 2013: Adele Debuts Post-Baby Body in Burberry (PHOTOS)

The Best Original Song nominee stuns in all-black.

How did Adele make her post-baby debut? In her signature black, of course.

For the first time since welcoming a son with boyfriend Simon Konecki in October, the Grammy-winning songstress stepped out on a red carpet, stunning in a floor-length, quarter-length sleeved black Burberry creation with a jewel-adorned neckline.

And not only did her Cartier gems add a dash of glam, but even Adele's manicure was sparkling. "Oh yeah, this is real glitter in the nails," she told E! News. "We had a bit of fun this morning. It’s a lot of fun. It matches my dress."

The new mom is nominated for Best Original Song for her chart-blazing James Bond theme song, “Skyfall," which faces stiff competition in the category: Taylor Swift's “Safe and Sound” from The Hunger Games, Jon Bon Jovi's “Not Running Anymore” from Stand Up Guys, Keith Urban's “For You” from Act of Valor, and “Suddenly” from Les Miserables.

As she heads into award season — during which she will also vie for an Academy Award — Adele holds only fond memories of recording the track. "It was absolutely amazing. I was very pregnant, and I was very emotional," she said. "But it was very, very exciting and epic. I felt like Frank Sinatra."

But before stepping into the recording studio, Adele wasn't too sure she was up for the challenge of joining the illustrative James Bond franchise.

"I got the script a long time ago and it took quite a while to convince me to do the actual song," she said. "It’s a big responsibility doing a Bong song. Paul McCartney’s done it, Shirley Bassey is the queen of them. I was worried I was going to let everyone down by doing it."

"But I got convinced," she continued. "I loved the script. I think  [Skyfall director] Sam Mendes was just incredible. And Daniel Craig is a gorgeous Bond. And they’re very serious now, the Bond films. They’re kind of evolving as they’re going on. I kind of wanted to do it — and it was very British."

Though she was hesitant at first, Adele has no regrets. "It paid off," she admitted. "Everyone loved it."
