Golden Globes 2013: The Stars Run Into Their Exes

Last night's Golden Globes Awards show was filled with the best of the best in Hollywood, and if there's one thing that's true about tinsletown, it's that it is a small, small world.

So tiny in fact, that many ex-boyfriends and girlfriends were forced to face one another again at the award ceremony.

Tension was high when formerly-engaged couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck narrowly missed one another on the red carpet. Cameras also panned in on Lopez' face as she watched Affleck win for Best Director.

The couple, who were dubbed "Bennifer" at the height of their popularity, ended their engagement in 2004 after nearly two years together.

The duo cancelled their September 2003 wedding in Montecito, Calif. a mere hours before it was to take place, but later reconciled without another wedding date set in stone.

But J. Lo, 43, didn't just have to avoid Argo's Affleck however. The "Dance Again" singer was also in the same room as her former flame Sean "Diddy" Combs. Lopez dated the Bad Boy Entertainment rapper briefly in 2000 just before falling in love with Affleck, 40.

In another perfect twist of Hollywood fate, Combs was in the presence of not just one past fling. The Girl's Sienna Miller – who was in attendance sans fiancé Tom Sturridge, was also in the famous Beverly Hilton Grand Ballroom. The two unlikely stars hooked up for a period during 2007, however, both denied publicly that they were dating according to Us Magazine.

Not only do celebs have to face major scrutiny from the public during their relationships, but once the romance fizzles out they often have to rub shoulders with their former loves for years to come.
