Curvier and Happier -- 15 Stars Who've Swapped Skinny for Sexy

Kim Kardashian, J.Lo and others are perfectly happy with a few curves.

Not everyone in Hollywood is obsessed with being stick-thin. Just ask an array of A-listers.

"I have a butt, I have boobs, and I have a woman's curves; there is no way I'd see them go to zero," Jennifer Lopez revealed to ELLE UK magazine in May 2007. "I hate to look in a magazine and see a picture of a girl who looks so thin she looks unhappy and as if she just needs someone to give her a good meal."

Most recently, the 43-year-old embraced her curves -- and flaunted them -- at Sunday's Golden Globes, thanks to a form-fitted, lace-adorned Zuhair Murad gown.

And she's not the only one opting out of that rail-thin trend.

"I'd rather be a few pounds heavier and enjoy life than be worried all the time," Drew Barrymore once told ELLE magazine. "There's no such thing as perfection, and someone else's definition of it is not good enough for me."

Even Rihanna admitted to Vogue in March 2011,  "I realized that I actually like my body, even if it's not perfect according to the book. I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don't want to get rid of the curves. My body is comfortable, and it's not unhealthy, so I'm going to rock with it."

The 24-year-old also shared some motivational words with Celebuzz in December: “You only have one life to live, so don’t care about what anyone else thinks and just love yourself.”

There are many other stars who don't need to be super-skinny to feel super-sexy -- launch the gallery above to find out who!

This article is disgusting. If you are trying to empower people who are bigger, please do not do it by insulting another group of people. "Swapped Skinny for Sexy".You can be skinny AND sexy. Also, skinny people can have curves too. Curves don't come from gaining weight, it's a natural shape you have. I'm seriously disappointed with this website. Why not promote being HEALTHY at whatever weight that may be.

Curve is a SHAPE, it is not a SIZE. Some women can have a smooth curvy shape wether they gain or lose 50 lbs. Most women however, don't look curvy like these stars. When I gain weight I get a gut, a big huge gut, and I don't feel curvy, or sexy. I also don't feel good when I gain weight because it's normally from eating like crap and being lazy.

How would people react if the title of this article was "15 stars who've swapped fat for sexy!"? There would be outrage. There seems to be this idea in people that it's okay to tell someone to eat a cheeseburger, but it's not okay to tell them to eat a salad. Why is it acceptable to make fun of thin women? Some of us are naturally thin, just as some of you are naturally fat. Men like both thin women and "curvy" women. To make a headline that one body type is sexier than another only reinforces the problem women are bombarded with every single day. I love reading this site, but this will be my last visit. I'm seriously disappointed. This is one of the few sites that focuses more on the positive than the negative, but this headline blew my mind. Shame on you.
