The Departed: Leonardo DiCaprio to Take a Break From Acting
The 38-year-old actor announced that he is taking a long break from filming.
On Friday, Leonardo DiCaprio said that he plans on taking a significant break from filming.
“I am a bit drained. I’m now going to take a long, long break. I’ve done three films in two years and I’m just worn out,” he told Germany’s Daily Bild, according to ABS-CBNnews.com. The 38-year-old actor is currently starring in Quentin Tarantino’s Golden Globe-winning film Django Unchained, and recently completed The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street.
Did you know DiCaprio was so green?
“My roof is covered with solar panels. My car is electric. A normal person does not drive more than 50 kilometres (31 miles) a day. That can be done with a plug," the Titanic star explained.
After being blessed with a fortunate career -- including nominations for multiple awards based on his performances, such as Best Actor for his roles in The Aviator and Blood Diamond, it appears as though DiCaprio just wants to focus on environmental campaigning.
And maybe enjoying his bachelor lifestyle...
