Lady Gaga had some fun on Monday in Los Angeles at famed Kitson Kids boutique, but this time the queen of fashion wasn’t shopping for herself.
“She said she was picking up a gift for a little boy,” a store employee told Celebuzz, but asked to remain anonymous. “She was even playing with one of the other babies in the store. She was really sweet, waving at him and making faces at him.”
So what was on her must-have list?
Junior Ray-Ban sunglasses, a Squishable pillow, Metallica “Rockabye Baby!” lullaby CD, an Alex Toys arts & crafts case, and a Big Brother t-shirt.
And the millionaire musician, 26, who was in town to perform at The Staples Center on her Born This Way Ball concert tour, spent a pretty penny — at least $250 for the stylish little tyke.
It had been reported that the superstar songstress was actually buying a gift for Elton John’s newest addition to his family, baby boy Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John, who was born via surrogate on Jan. 11.
John and his husband David Furnish are already parents to son Zachary Jackson Levon, 2, whose godmother happens to be Gaga.
Coincidentally, John visited Kitson a week before, the employee dished.
“Elton John came in last week. He bought happy birthday party hats, doodle books and scented markers.”
And Grammy Award-winning Gaga sure made a lasting impression.
“She was really nice, one of the nicest, most humble, down-to-earth people,” added the employee.
