Who Needs Men? Taylor Swift is Sexier Single
From plunging necklines to shorter hemlines, see her daring new red carpet style.
Taylor Swift has ditched her good-girl style (prim dresses, cutesy headbands, princess-like ball gowns) and joined the sexy red carpet club.
On Thursday, the 23-year-old country singer took yet another plunge in a white-hot dress by Kaufman Franco for an awards show in Spain. Swift, who took home an award for Best International Artist later that night, finished off her look with a pair of killer Christian Louboutin heels.
Swift’s sizzling ensemble comes just two weeks after the singer took an equally deep dive in another white gown at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards.
Though the awards show took place just as news of Swift's split from Styles broke, the singer looked better than ever, in a revealing Ralph Lauren Collection dress that featured a sexy curve-hugging silhouette.
But Swift's recent red carpet dips aren't the only signs of the singer's sexy new style.
At this year’s Golden Globe Awards, Swift turned heads when she showed some sideboob in a plum Donna Karen Atelier gown that featured an open back and sheer paneling along the sides.
Ditching the long, sparkly gowns we've grown accustomed to seeing her wear on the red carpet, Swift has also experimented with shorter hemlines. At the 2012 American Music Awards, Swift, fresh from her breakup with Kennedy, showed off her steams -- and her back -- in a backless Zuhair Murad mini dress.
In a new interview with VIBE, Swift said she’s well aware that the public is watching, and saves her risk-taking for her music, not her fashion.
“Different people take their chances in different ways . . . some people take fashion risks, or in their lives and what they say, or they give really edgy interviews. I leave my risks to my music. I let it speak from where my life is.”
If Swift keeps up this sexy streak, she might be singing another tune next time she's asked about her red carpet fashion choices.
