Not-So-Sweet 16: Watch Jennifer Lawrence's Now-Infamous MTV Promo (VIDEO)

For many actors, the story of how they got their Screen Actors Guild card isn't filled with glitz and glamor. In fact, most had to get theirs the hard way -- like, you know, starring in a commercial for an MTV reality show.

Such was the case for Jennifer Lawrence, who revealed this tidbit during her SAG Awards acceptance speech on Sunday.

In light of the big reveal, MTV went ahead and released the two-part promo, which has Lawrence playing a bratty teenager whose sweet 16 party goes horribly wrong.

Among the terrors: having a disco ball fall flat on her cake and falling over during her grand entrance.

Naturally, since the show was about a bunch of bratty and over-privileged kids, Lawrence's character wasn't happy.

But hey, at least she got her SAG card.

On Sunday, Lawrence won the Best Actress SAG for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook. She is expected to win the same award at the Oscars, airing Sun., Feb 24 on ABC.
