Don’t expect to keep up with baby Kimye on primetime TV.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, mom-to-be Kim Kardashian revealed her plans to keep her first child out of the spotlight.

“The baby is not going to be on our show,” Kim said with big sister Kourtney by her side. “When he or she decides that’s what they want to do, then that will be a decision.”

Although, the decision didn’t come easily for Kim and beau Kanye West.

“From the start, as of now, that’s just a personal choice that Kanye and I have made…We’re going to try to keep it as private as possible,” she added after Kimmel remarked that the baby would be the only member of the Kardashians not featured on television.

When it comes to her adorable nephew and niece getting airtime, Kim considers them to be naturals in front of the camera.

“I love seeing Mason and Penelope on TV,” she said, praising Kourtney’s children. “Mason is the highlight of our show, I think.”

But Kourtney admitted the ongoing “struggle” to decide if letting her kids on TV is the best choice.

“A lot of the times I feel like, them being with their mom is the best thing,” the eldest Kardashian sister said.

When asked about sharing hand-me-downs amongst their little ones, the sisters joked about Kanye’s preference over clothes “specially made,” along with some “really fun stuff.” Like a lavish nursery, perhaps?

“Leather pants!” said Kourtney.

“Imagine, crapping in something that expensive,” Kimmel quipped.

Finishing the interview with a grand flourish, Kimmel took the opportunity to throw Kim a “mini” shower, topped off with celebratory virgin mimosas and “a big book of baby names that start with K.”
