Kerry Washington celebrates her 36th birthday today, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a tribute to the Scandal star's standout style.

This birthday girl knows how to pick a dress, making her one of our favorite celebs to watch on the red carpet.

The Django Unchained star always wows with something unique and fresh, whether she's donning a showstopping gown, a sexy mini dress, or a modern frock.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that the natural beauty has a flawless complexion, which she likes to play up with a bold lip or an of-the-moment hairstyle.

We've been stalking Washington's style for years, but her most recent red carpet looks, from her Django Unchained promo tour and the last few awards shows, simply blew us away.
