The X Factor host revealed how big sister Kim Kardashian‘s pregnancy was an influence in confronting her fertility issues with hubby Lamar Odom during an Thursday morning appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America.
“Kimberly’s actually the one who made me go to the doctor and check my body and figure out what was wrong if anything,” said Kardashian Odom, who stole the spotlight in a black dress with thigh-high boots.
While she’s admitted her dreams of starting a family, Kardashian Odom is “still enjoying the newlywed phase.”
“We’ve been married three years, we’re still enjoying the newlywed phase,” she gushed.
As for now, the 28-year-old is looking forward to becoming an aunt again.
“I’m excited to have another niece or nephew,” she added.
But it wasn’t all baby talk for Kardashian Odom: The reality star stopped by to talk about her newest project, Generation Know with U by Kotex, an initiative which helps young girls with questions about their body.
“When I was a teenager, I didn’t really have anybody to go to ask the things that you’re embarrassed about, or you might feel uncomfortable asking anybody,” she explained, adding “It’s just so informative. And I love that because I have two little sisters and if they don’t want to ask me something, I direct them to this.”
With her involvement, Kardashian Odom hopes to inspire young women on healthy living and education.
“Even in school, I wasn’t taught certain things about my body or even comfortable asking,” she said.
Moving on to lighter topics, when asked about the upcoming season of The X Factor, Khloe admitted she “had no idea” about Britney Spears‘ and L.A. Reid‘s replacements, but had a theory about Simon Cowell‘s search for new judges.
“I was hired a week before the show aired, so I feel like Simon might do the same thing,” she said with a smile.
