The Identity Thief opens this weekend, pairing Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy in a double billing that doesn’t even need a trailer to get us excited. Both McCarthy and Bateman are at the top of their game these days that their casting as this mismatched duo is actually something of a comedic no-brainer.

All of which got us to thinking: which actors working today would we like to see thrown into a comedy together?
