Rihanna Joins Chris Brown in L.A. Court for Probation Hearing

Talk about drama.

TMZ is reporting that Rihanna arrived at a Los Angeles courthouse with Chris Brown as the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer turned up for a scheduled hearing in relation to his five-year probation.

The “Diamonds” singer reportedly blew him a kiss and said something supportive to her rumored on-again beau before Brown, 23, walked into the courtroom with his lawyer Mark Geragos.

The sighting is an eye-opening one, as Brown’s probation stems from his 2009 felony assault that left Rihanna violently beaten-up and bruised.

According to TMZ, Rihanna, 24, was seated behind Brown — and beside his mother — for what appeared to be a short hearing. The pair exited the courthouse together just after 2PM PT.

Early Wednesday morning, Rihanna and Brown were spotted leaving an L.A. recording studio together in the latter’s black Porsche.

Brown is under fire for not completing his court-ordered community service as part of his probation, Deputy District Attorney Mary A. Murray indicated in a 19-page motion filed on Tuesday. According to the document, the Grammy-winning singer and his team failed to provide “credible, competent or verifiable evidence” that he had completed 180 days of labor in his home state of Virginia.

As for Wednesday’s hearing, TMZ reports that Superior Court Judge James Brandlin has ordered a supplemental report from Brown’s team and that he needs to report to his probation officer in the next 48 hours.

Brown is due back in court Apr. 5.

Shortly after Brown’s court appearance, his lawyer held a news conference outside his L.A. office, where he blasted the D.A.’s office.

“The D.A. is paralyzed with the thought that [Brown’s] probation will be terminated as soon as the community service hours have been completed . . . If that happens they won’t be able to jock him around like they’ve been jocking him around,” Geragos said.

“There has never been . . . I’ve never had any client who has been tortured by a D.A.’s office on probation like Chris Brown has.”

Geragos stated that his team has received 10 e-mails in the last 24 hours from Virginia police officers and firefighters who reported that Brown completed his community service.

Brown’s lawyer also addressed the presence of Rihanna, noting that she is “completely supportive” of the singer.
