How To Stand Out At Fashion Week
The Fall 2013 fashion shows have only just begun, but Tinsletown’s trendsetters are already putting on their own fashion show as they hit up the week’s hottest shows and parties. Nemo’s frigid fury has forced the style set to bundle up, but New York Fashion Week’s famous faces are still finding ways to shine, adapting one of the red carpet’s biggest trends to the front rows at Lincoln Center.
From shiny metallics to shimmery embellishments, Hollywood’s style stars have been hard to miss in their glittery ensembles.
The sparkle parade began at the glamorous amfAR gala on Wednesday, where Linday Lohan made a show-stopping entrance in a slinky bedazzled gown that channeled old-Hollywood glamour. And Heidi Klum’s plunging neckline wasn’t the only thing part of her ensemble that made heads turn at the AIDs benefit.
Despite sticking to an all-black ensemble, the Project Runway host stole the show in a sequined Michael Kors halter gown that featured a plunging neckline and equally daring back.
But celebs aren’t just saving the glitz for the week’s fancier fetes. At the Wildfox Fall 2013 Collection Presentation on Wednesday, Vanessa Hudgens ran with the motto “you can never be overdressed,” standing out from the crowd of blazers and skinnies in a long, metallic dress that shimmered.
