Robert Pattinson Shaves His Head For New Movie Role

The actor has once again ditched his famous locks for a movie he's shooting in Australia.

Robert Pattinson has said goodbye to his signature long locks again -- this time, to film a movie.

The hunky actor, who also bid adieu to the Twilight Saga last November, was seen sporting a new look as shooting gets underway for his movie, The Rover, in Australia, as reported by AdelaideNow.

He was also seen posing for pictures with a couple of very, very, very lucky Aussie female fans, which quickly made the rounds on Twitter. (Check out those in the gallery, above.)

In the film, Pattinson plays Rey, the brother of a thief who gets wounded and left behind after a robbery goes wrong. He is then forced to track down the gang by the robbery's victim, played by Guy Pearce.

Of course, as any diehard Twihard will know, this isn't the first time Pattinson has been excessive with the clippers.

He donned a buzz cut once before in 2012 that he showed off at the premiere of Bel Ami.

He also recently showed off a shorter -- well, longer by today's standards -- look at the Golden Globe Awards in 2013.

Either way, the Hollywood heartthrob can't go wrong.
