Scarlett Johansson Is One Of Hollywood's Most Powerful Women -- And Here's Why
She's one of entertainment's sexiest, rising stars - Scarlett Johansson, 28 makes the cut on the Celebuzz Power Index at #16.
Between film roles, star campaigns and even a theater gig, ScarJo's schedule has been jam-packed over the last year -- and it doesn't look like things will be slowing down for the star anytime soon.
Most recently, the actress -- who ranks No. 17 on our Hollywood Power Index -- has been seen on Broadway - reprising the iconic character Maggie in the revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The 15-week engagement came right on the heels of her latest film release in which she plays another beloved figure from the past.
Starring as late actress Janet Leigh in Hitchcock late last year alongside Helen Mirren, Jessica Biel and James D’Arcy,Johansson shone on-screen.
On having to strip down to recreate Leigh's famous shower scene from the '60s thriller, the actress recently told Celebuzz, “My god, it’s just the unknown factors before you go in. I mean, nobody likes to see an actor have a modesty issue...you’re asking all these questions. But once you get the first take out of the way, it’s OK.”Big stars equal big endorsement deals - and ScarJo is no stranger to the world of celebrity ad campaigns. Named the face of Dolce & Gabbana's beauty line for over two years in a row, Johansson recently teamed up with acclaimed photographer Terry Richardson to shoot the latest campaign for the line's latest fragrance 'The One Desire.'
With the dazzling star front and center in the branding of the fragrance, the Italian fashion and beauty brand is estimating that their newest scent -- set to debut in the U.S. this spring -- will rake in $150 million alone.
