Kim Kardashian Scores A Win In Her Divorce Case
An L.A. judge rules the reality star's estranged husband Kris Humphries must go to trial on May 6.
Kim Kardashian's divorce drama may be coming to an end sooner than expected.
A Los Angeles judge ruled Friday that her case with ex Kris Humphries must go to trial as soon as possible, with the next available date on May 6.
Humphries, 28, had been trying to postpone the proceedings until June when the NBA season ends -- which also fell around the time the Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star is set to give birth to her first child with rapper Kanye West.filed a declarationclaiming that her estranged husband is preventing her from living her life.
Superior Court Judge Stephen Moloney ruled in favor of Kardashian's request, telling Humphries and his lawyer, Marshall W. Waller, that they have more than enough time to gather their case in the next three months.
In her closing remarks, Kardashian's lawyer Laura Wasser said she felt that Humphries' legal team "were on a broad fishing expedition" in an attempt to prove the couple's 72-day marriage -- which was broadcasted as a TV special on E! -- was a fraud.
