Lindsay Lohan’s circle of fashion friends just got a whole lot smaller.

The troubled starlet returned the borrowed Theia gown that she wore to the amFAR event on Feb. 6 in New York City in barely-recognizable condition.

According to a source at Us Weekly, LiLo “said that the dress had ripped [at a club after the fundraiser] — she couldn’t possibly wear it like that — so her stylist friend went to the club bouncer and requested some scissors to repair the torn part of the dress.”

Not only did LiLo return the dress with the original hemline completely gone, but the 26-year-old actress also took matters into her own hands and created a mullet-like hem on the gown, leaving all the edges completely frayed and uneven.

Lohan’s pal Charlie Sheen originally offered to pay for half of the dress (which retailed at $1750) and introduced his longtime friend and stylist Phillip Bloch to help the Mean Girls star get ready for the black tie affair.

Bloch then pulled the couture gown purely for borrowing purposes and styled Lohan for the charity ball.

This isn’t the first time Sheen has offered to help Lohan out. Last year, he offered to loan her over $100,000 to help with her financial woes.

Lohan, however, is said to have declined the generous offer.

Theia gowns retail from $1,000 to $2,000 and have been worn by celebrities like Carrie Underwood and Oprah Winfrey.
