Despite all the headlines Rihanna has made over the past year due to her alleged rekindled romance with Chris Brown, business is booming. The singer is so in-demand, in fact, she can rake in a cool $8 million for flipping a switch, which is why she ranks No. 3 on Celebuzz's Hollywood Power Index.

With the launch of a sexy new fragrance, a new $12 million Pacific Palisades estate and a lucrative deal as the face (and body) of Armani Jeans, the “Diamonds” singer reigned supreme in 2012.

In November, the songstress celebrated a historical music milestone by topping the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for her hit song, “Diamonds” for the 12th time in her career. The impressive feat — aaccomplished in just six years — places RiRi ahead of Mariah Carey as the first female artist to reach 12 number-one hits in the fastest amount of time and ties her with Madonna and The Supremes for the fourth-most number-one singles in Billboard history.

That same month, the singer released her seventh studio album, Unapologetic, featuring collaborations with EminemFuture and on-and-off flame Brown and posed for GQ's Men of the Year installment. In a barely-there lingerie shoot Kate Mossthe singer was featured front and center in the December 2012 issue.
