Here’s Where You’ll Be Seeing J-Law Next
But in the case of Jennifer Lawrence — who on Sunday won an Oscar for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook — the future looks pretty bright.
Not only is the 22-year-old just getting her feet wet in Hollywood, she has a number of high-profile projects and franchises (hello, Hunger Games!) to keep her in the spotlight for at least the next couple of years.
Below, check out the six (yep, six) instances in which moviegoers can expect to see Lawrence on the big screen through 2015.
Lawrence reteams with her Silver Linings Playbook costar Bradley Cooper in this Depression-era drama, about a woman who cannot bear her husband’s children. Susanna Bier (After the Wedding) directs. (Sept. 27)
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Katniss and the gang find themselves killing each other all over again in this much-anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games. Francis Lawrence, not Gary Ross, directs. (Nov. 22)
Lawrence reteams with her Silver Linings Playbook director David O’Russell (and, yes, Bradley Cooper, too) in his retelling of the FBI’s Abscam sting operation that took down multiple US Congressmen in the ’70s. In it, she gets to play, yep, Christian Bale’s wife. Ugh. (2013)
X-Men: Days of Future Past
Lawrence will get her summer blockbuster on again when she returns to the X-Men franchise as everyone’s favorite blue mutant, Mystique. (Jul. 18, 2014)
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part I
Lawrence returns to the Hunger Games for the first attempt to milk the franchise for all it’s worth. (Nov. 21, 2014)
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part II
Lawrence returns to the Hunger Games for the second and final attempt to milk the franchise for all it’s worth. (Nov. 20, 2015)
