Look: Kid Versions Of Jennifer Lawrence, Ben Affleck, Michelle Obama And Other Oscar Stars
Tots play dress-up to impersonate famous Academy Awards attendees for Toddlewood.
Jennifer Lawrence, meet your mini-me.
New York-based artist Tricia Messeroux has done it again, recreating pint-size versions of Oscar night's most memorable looks with the help of children dressed as stars such as the Best Actress winner.
Appropriately named "Toddlewood," the project's goal is to put on a larger-than-life scale dress-up party and transform kids to look like their favorite stars decked out in designer attire.
According to Messeroux, the series began in 2008 after she got the inspiration from her own three-year-old daughter.
For this year's Academy Awards, the photographer decided to recreate the looks of Lawrence, Oscar nominee Amy Adams, A-list couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck and First Lady Michelle Obama's surprise televised appearance.
Messeroux also applied her "Toddlewood" touch to 2013's Golden Globe Awards.she told Celebuzz of the shoot. “We get hair and makeup and go crazy!”
“The kids just love it. They have so much fun,” she added. “It’s like a play date for them and they have a ball.”
