Heidi Klum Joins 'America’s Got Talent' As Fourth Judge
The model will join the NBC talent competition's judges' panel alongside Howie Mandel, Howard Stern and Mel B.
Klum flew to New Orleans on Sunday to join the rest of the judges -- Howie Mandel, Howard Stern and fellow new hire, Spice Girls member Melanie Brown AKA Mel B. -- for the first round of auditions, NBC sources told the site. While the site says Klum signed on to the show in "last minute" agreement, a photo it acquired from the set already has the Project Runway host's name emblazoned above her seat. NBC must have felt confident the deal would go through. Klum's participation marks the first time AGT has had a four-person panel.
Klum’s newest job comes some six months after Sharon Osbourne announced her exit from the series. Osbourne, who was a judge for six seasons, was replaced by Brown in February.
NBC reps didn't immediately respond to Celebuzz's request for confirmation on Klum.
The show kicked off its 11th season on Lifetime in January, with designer Zac Posen replacing Michael Kors as one of the judges.
Klum, 39, has also been the face of Germany’s Next Top Model since 2006.
