10 Reasons Why Robsten Should've Been Nominated For Best Kiss

Here's why "Twilight" stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were snubbed by the MTV Movie Awards.

Say it ain't so!

For the first time since 2009, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson weren't nominated for MTV Movie Awards' Best Kiss, meaning the on and offscreen couple have zero chances of winning in the category they've swept for the past four consecutive years.

The duo, who was previously nominated for the roles of Bella and Edward in the Twilight series, were beat out by Django Unchained's Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx, Moonrise Kingdom's Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman, Silver Lining Playbook's Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, Ted's Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg and The Perks of Being a Wallflower's Emma Watson and Logan Lerman.

Well, for those naysayers who say Robsten shouldn't be up for this year's coveted golden popcorn statue, here are 10 reasons that'll make them rethink this snub.

1. Even though they're awkward sometimes, these two know how to make their chemistry sparkle.

2. Like, really sparkle.

3. They don't like to take themselves seriously.

4. But Robsten can get really into it when it comes down to filming -- like true professionals, you know.

5. Whether they're in black and white...

6. Or sepia...

7. Or in full color...

8. Kristen and Rob know how to deliver.

9. So feel -- and spread -- the love, people.

10. You're missing out!

Logan Lerman is the male version of Natalie Portman. They are both beautiful Jews.

MTV SUCKS and as a Twilight fan and a true blue Robsten fan...I will not/have not vote for anything and will not watch. MTV SUCKS and can put its lips on my arse. I also pray Robsten will not attend...moving on.

There goes the ratings for the MTV Movie Awards! I only ever watched it because they would be there together.

I saw "Breaking dawn", part 2. The end scene really got to me as Bella can project to Edward's mind the moment they met down to the special moments they shared throughout their lives up until then. It was kind of a goodbye to me. I can imagine how hard must have been for them who, even in character, shared those moments together. I know Kristen made a mistake as I am sure Robert did, only we didn't see the pictures. Nevertheless, I can only console myself knowing that if it's hard for me, only a fan, a viewer, for them must be so much painful, therefore, I know in my heart that even if Robert cannot forget what happened, he will always love her. I heard somewhere that true love is always a story that end ups with goodbyes, there's always something that wont let it go on. There's only a few that might have their soul mates to live with happily ever after. I thought they were one of the few lucky ones, but then again, I'm always hopeful and miracles do happen. Best to both!

    I totally agree with Marty.

OMG I LOVE this article <3 such beautiful¡ It's unbelievable that they're not nominated. I hate MTV.

MTV knew Rob and Kris would win again. Without a doubt. Seems like they intentionally went out of their way to upset the Twilight fans. Not smart MTV. Not smart. None of the nominees come close.....and the fans know it. So we will not be voting or watching.

Forget Robsten, why weren't Emdrew nominated?? The rooftop kiss in Spiderman was pretty damn cool too! What's wrong with MTV?!

  • Gigi

The MTV snub was very disrespectful to the fans. The decision by MTV, given some of those ultimately nominated, makes no sense and can only be categorized as intentional. Pretty pathetic given the support of the fans over the years.
