Holly Madison Reveals Baby Daughter's Name

Holly Madison has chosen quite the, uh, colorful name for her new baby daughter.

"I wanted to give my daughter a unique name,” the former Girls Next Door told E! on Friday. "Growing up, there was a girl in my school named Rainbow and I was so envious of that name. I thought it was so pretty and unique!"

Rainbow was born at 11:59 a.m. on Tuesday, weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces. She is the first child for Madison, 33, and her boyfriend, Pasquale Rotella, 38.

"We couldn't be any more overjoyed than at this moment," Madison told Life & Style on Tuesday.

"I've never been more in love than I am today as, after months of waiting, I finally was able to hold my daughter for the first time…I'm truly the luckiest man in the world," added Pasquale.

Earlier on Friday, Madison posted a special thank you note on her blog, thanking fans for all the well-wishes as she transitions into motherhood.

"I’ve been spending the last day or so learning how to be a mom -- it’s the best project in the world! I never thought I would be so happy -- especially on so little sleep!" she wrote.
